Hello, and welcome to my first ever blog post!
My name is Laura, and I am a UK-based lover of all things vintage and retro- music, film, books, photography, decor, and above all fashion!
I have always found history fascinating, and I feel that past decades can be a wonderful source of inspiration, especially where style is concerned.
In recent years I have become obsessed with the 1960s and 1970s, as I adore the music and fashion from these eras, and feel that referencing them has really helped me to develop my personal style.
I particularly love how fearless clothes became, with so many gorgeous fabrics, cuts, patterns and colours!
Last year I decided to begin sharing my outfits on Instagram (@LauraintheSkywithDiamonds), and I thought it would be fun to start writing about them, along with anything else that brings me joy- hopefully it might bring you some too! x
